Adam Marstrand-Jorgensen
Visiting scientist
Adam holds a master’s degree in molecular biology from the University of Copenhagen. Currently, Adam is doing an industrial PhD in bioinformatics in collaboration with the Danish biotech company Gubra A/S and the University of Copenhagen in Ditte Hansen’s nephrology research group as part of the PRIMETIME project.
Adam is currently in the MiKTMC group as a short-term visiting scholar. His main interests are in the analysis of transcriptomic data in all forms and at all scales as well as integrative bioinformatic analyses. The main goals of his research are to investigate the translatability of a range of murine CKD and DKD models to human disease, with a special focus on DKD in type 2 diabetics.
