Allyson’s background is in the biological sciences with a focus on molecular biology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Butler University and her Doctorate in Cellular & Molecular Biology from University of Michigan.  She previously worked for a non-profit consulting company, leveraging her scientific abilities to identify opportunities, tackle complex problems, and perform market and competitive analyses.

Allyson likes spending her free time enjoying all four seasons in Michigan by swimming, hiking, and skiing. She also loves learning how to cook new dishes and spending time with her partner and their cats.
