Matthew received his undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan. He joined MiKTMC in April 2021 as a Research Lab Specialist. He works in the Wet Bench group, under Dr. Jennifer Harder, culturing kidney organoids for the study of various kidney diseases. He has previous research experience at the Pathology Department studying mixed-lineage leukemia and directing the Michigan Synthetic Biology Team on various research projects.
Prior to joining MiKTMC, Matthew supported patient-physician relationships and managed scribes as a chief scribe associate at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, and running.
