Rachel received an MSI from the School of Information at the University of Michigan. Her studies focused on Library and Information Science, with an interest in cataloging.

Rachel joined the MiKTMC team in 2015. She develops standards and processes for data curation, as well as collects, standardizes, and releases data to several research study software tools such as tranSMART, Nephroseq, and the KPMP Kidney Tissue Atlas.

Prior to MiKTMC, Rachel worked at the University of Michigan Library as a Cataloger, and at Compendia Bioscience as a Data Manager responsible for curating data for the Oncomine and Nephromine applications.
